Hegeler Carus MansionHegeler Carus MansionThe stately Hegeler Carus Mansion, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995, is now a National Historic Landark. Virtually unaltered since its completion more than a century ago, the Hegeler Carus faily home is an excellent example of artistic achievement in architecture and in interior design. It is also the site of historic accomplishments in industry (Mr. Hegeler founded the zinc industry in the area), philosophy, publishing, and religion.

Pontiac-Oakland Automobile Museum

Come see one of the world’s greatest collections of Pontiac and Oakland automobile brand items. Antique and Classic cars, thousands of dealer artifacts, a comprehensive library of maps, brochures, original design drawings, service manuals. There are dealer signs and a wonderful display of over 2,000 oil cans to see.

Pontiac War Museum

Come visit our displays from World War 1 to the present. We are staffed by veterans and located next to the Route 66 Museum in beautiful downtown Pontiac.
Free parking available across the street. Open Monday - Saturday 10 am - 4 pm. Open Sunday afternoons 12 - 4 pm.

Community Veterans Memorial

The Community Veterans Memorial is a 6.5 acre park located at 9710 Calumet Avenue, Munster, Indiana and is open dawn to dusk, weather permitting. Admission is free.

The Community Veterans Memorial features bronze and granite sculptures, and life-size monuments to depict the major military conflicts that shaped the 20th Century.

Air Zoo
